We will feature a “Women of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” exposition throughout CAB as well as panel discussions and guest speakers who share our interest to highlight and promote the role of women in technology.

Anne Boettcher (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, AZ) is the Director of the Undergraduate Research Institute and Honors Program. She is the Immediate Past-President of the Council on Undergraduate Research and serves on their Executive Board. Prior to joining Embry-Riddle, she was a Professor of Biology and Undergraduate Research Program Director at the University of South Alabama. While at South, she served as Co-PI for NSF-REU and PI for Merck-AAAS programs, mentored over 60 undergraduate and graduate research students and integrated research and ethics components into all of her courses.


Dana Evert

Dana Evert joined thyssenkrupp NA in October 2016. She is responsible for talent resourcing, talent management, total rewards and HR transformation within North America. For more than 13 years, Evert oversaw human resources for thyssenkrupp NA Materials Services in North America in Southfield, Michigan.

Prior to tthyssenkrupp NA, Evert served on the human resources team for Norgren Automotive in Michigan.

Evert earned her Master’s of Business Administration from Wayne State University and her Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University.

With over 21 years’ experience in strategic advisory, solution architecture and delivery, as well as best practice security role design, I bring extensive expertise related to information security, access control, and identity management, with a specialization in Human Resources and Payroll, including protection of PII. With a passion for knowledge sharing and enabling clients with a proactive approach, I work side-by-side with clients to identify the right approach to manage risk and compliance for information security and data privacy requirements. I tap into my past experience and utilize my expertise to guide clients with GRC and Security health checks, and pre- and post-audit remediation.

Through optimizing business processes, and integrating technical infrastructure with functional solutions, I approach solving business problems with the support of technology, rather than technological systems dictating how business operates.
